The Anchor for my Malaise
The storm dances outside while my heart dances in distress
Sitting in the nook of a room walled in darkness
I feel flustered and dejected with my hands and legs shivering
A ray of light passes through the lunette flashing
But still, there isn't a blaze within me
My heart in isolation aches and pleads for aid
All Alone, there lies a mirror in the front
A shadow leaps in from it resembling me
My eyes stuck on, I see a bougie wielded in its hand
Seducing my heart to serenity and finally nearing me
It said 'I will be your anchor in the storm'.
